Years later, Linda Cooke married Mr. Womacks brother Cecil, and the couple became a recording duo, Womack & Womack. She is the author of several successful cowboy series and has garnered several writing awards, which include Christy Award finalist, Rita Award finalist and Carol Award Winner.
